​blueprint314 was founded by Ray Ruzicka and Brian McLaughlin, who have over 45 years of combined media planning and buying experience working for several top U.S. advertisers. 

Both Ray and Brian started their media careers at Advanswers-St. Louis, working with clients such as Brown-Forman Distillers, Capital One, ConAgra, Energizer and Nestle Purina. Eventually, Advanswers was purchased by a major agency holding company and became part of PHD, a top U.S. media service company. Ray became Managing Director of PHD St. Louis, while Brian managed a variety of client work as Associate Media Director. When PHD consolidated in 2007, Ray and Brian established a media department at Schupp Company – a St. Louis advertising agency.

Fast forward to 2011, when Ray and Brian founded blueprint314, offering a level of strategic planning and buying expertise typically found only at much larger media organizations. Services provided include:
